Anglo Indian cuisine came about with the British rule in India. The British Memsahibs or Ladies gave their khansama or cooks instructions of recipes which resulted in the Cooks understanding of the recipes resulting in the output. That is how Anglo Indian food was born.
Anglo Indian food is mostly meat based.
